Thanks for visiting ActiveBabyGear.com. My name is Dr. Shawn Soszka, I am a Naturopathic Physician specializing in Primary/Family Care located in Portland, Oregon. This development of this site stems from the need to provide an online resource for safe, high quality baby products for active and exercise-oriented parents and their children.
Product Safety
I wanted to develop an online resource for parents who want stay informed of the latest baby product safety information. With the recent rash of product recalls for baby toys, cribs, and clothing I felt compelled to compile the online resources I use to advise my patients on safe products for their children. My team and I developed the Baby and Child Product Recall page on this site to help parents make safe product purchases. As a family practitioner I often act as a clearinghouse of information for safe, effective baby products. I stay current with the myraid of baby-related products through product reviews and (more importantly) the experiences of my patients.
